Perry on Change.......

Finally I am taking, at least what I feel to be the right steps to complete the change I want to happen in my life. These steps are not easy for some reason, I truly wish they were. Up until recently I was feeling like I was letting myself and my family down, like I had taken 3 steps forward and 10 steps back. No fun being 7 steps behind where you feel you should be.

I compare change to be like the Reality TV show "The Biggest Loser". I don't watch the show but as I listen to the avid fans of it I have come to realize that the biggest and most effective change requires the most work and effort. Apparently, the people on the show are required to do things that they never would have done, not in a million years. The diets, the exercise, the mental stamina to continue and the conviction to inflict the desired changes on their lives are incredible.

I think of a woman going through a pregnancy. Her body changes, her moods change and the entire process becomes trying and taxing on her. Things like losing 100 pounds, having a wonderful and healthy baby and creating a future and lifestyle that you desire takes an immense amount of dedication to the process. It is the process that creates the change.

Now that we are moved and slowly getting settled in our new home we are ecstatic. The process of getting here was extremely tough. Me unable to help as much as I would like and both Deana and I working around very busy schedules was taxing. The change however was worth it. Now we can concentrate on where we want to go next and the process, as trying and taxing it can be, of getting to where we want to be in our lives.

We are following our passions again, working our business again, getting back to both of us being able to work from home again and helping as many people as we can achieve all that they believe.
