I do agree with Perry, (for the most part). Success definitely does require action, belief, and commitment, they all work hand in hand. In my opinion, you can't have one without the other, and still achieve success. First of all, if you don't believe you can be successful, you will not make the commitment required to stay consistent with the actions necessary to achieve the success.
Let's face it, life is just too busy to be wasting time on something that you aren't going to be able to achieve anyway. Time is a valuable resource which must be used wisely.
Where Perry and I differ, is that I believe there is a fourth element in the success equation, (the D). It is what cements the commitment and drives the action-- DESIRE. It doesn't matter what success looks like for you, you have to really want it. Even if you believe that you can achieve it, you have to have a big enough 'Why'.
Your desire is the driving force for the commitment and the action. Remember, you are already busy with your day to day life. If you are content enough with your life right now, you won't be willing to give up any more of that precious commodity (Time) that it takes to achieve greater things.
That is not to say that you are unwilling to do what it takes to be successful, but instead, maybe you have already achieved it. If so, let me be the first to congratulate you for learning and following your A,B,C,D's of success.
